David Douglas receives Rising Star Award

2008_rising_star_award.jpgRising Star Award, formerly the Don B. Weist Award, at the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association (SMDRA) 2004-2005 Inaugural Celebration at the new Marriott Hotel South. This award is presented to a member who has provided outstanding service to the association and to the community during the first five years of their real estate career.

SMDRA Nominated and voted the award to me on Wednesday September 24, 2008. My family and close friends kept this from me the last few months. You were very good at keeping it a secret because the expression on my face when they said "the recipient of the award went to Troy University" my mouth dropped. I feel blessed and honored to have received this award.
